God, is this community dead? I think it is. Is there any way of breathing life into it?

Anyway, to anyone who isn't wondering, I'm Roisin from Leitrim.

See ya

Hello everyone, I'm planning a trip for my friend and I to go to Ireland later this year.

I just wanted to know three things; when does it gets cold and how cold does it usually get, what area is best for things like drinking and partying and shows (music; I'm into hardcore and metal), and where is Murphy Down?

I'm new and already I've got questions for you all.

I'm assumnig most of you are from Ireland. I'm from Boston and I'm going to be heading to Dublin at the end of May, and I was just wondering if there are any places to see Irish bands (rock/emo/punk..whatever really) in the temple bar district?

If you know of anything, thanks in advance for clueing me in, if not - it's alright, I'm just curious. I think it would be cool to hear something new live. :)

Hi!
I don't know if I'm at the right place but I'm doing a travellers diary for school and I'm damn intrested in Ireland (I'm going there to be an exchangestudent) so I chose it. Thing is, I need to know someone form IRealnd so I can ask things that you can't come across on a touristpage, to get to know "a real Irealand"... So I'm looking for a mailfriend or many :) Thanks! My mail is Littleponysunbright@gmail.com

So...
My Mom gave me the idea of going to stay with her bestfriend in Cavan. I have no idea where Cavan is or let alone what there is there, aside from ya know pubs. I was in Ireland in May/June last year. So anyone have any info on Cavan or the surrounding area?

Hey I'm new!
Hey I'm Whit. I was raised in Dublin but we moved to America about two years ago because of my dads job.

I went back over the summer for three and half weeks by myself, as a birthday present, and yeah it was great.

Major culture shock moving here.

Anyways,
Just wanted to indroduce myself.

This place seems dead, but oh well.

Sunday
On Sunday I'm going to Ireland for the All Irelands Irish Dance competition. This isnt my first time there but first time there and being old enough to go out to clubs and stuff. So, does anyone have any suggestions of good clubs/pubs or whatever in Dublin and Belfest (I'll be up there for the dance competition for a few days)

Thanks!

My trip to Ireland
Sorry this took so long, but I went to Ireland way back in late May/early June. I have to say it was the best 2 weeks of my life. Most of the time was spent in Dublin, but we were also around Tramore(outside Waterford) and Galway. Tramore was beautiful, Galway was pretty cool, but Dublin was the best. We stayed in my friend's Grandad's house. The area was nice, Castleknock, if anyone's heard of it. It's about a 10-15min walk from Phoenix Park. We were lucky to catch a friendly football game betwee Ireland and Romania(Ireland won) and the Gaelic playoffs, we saw Dublin go down to Meath at the stadium. Absolutely beautiful and I'm looking forward to going back, whenever that happens.

Well here are some pictures...

Apply!

Yeah, it's a rating community but it's really cool. Plus, we need more Irish girls and boys! So give it a try.
